The Commission has extended the submission filing dates of IPTV Consultation (the “ConDoc”) as specified below.

The Telecommunications Commission (the “Commission”) launched a consultation process on the provision and licensing of television services (including Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services) in the Turks & Caicos Islands, published August 14, 2017, which is available on the Commission’s website at http://www.telecommission.tc. This consultation document invited interested parties to provide comments on the ConDoc by September 29, 2017 and reply responses by October 20, 2017.

Due to regional impact of hurricane Irma, the Commission extended the deadline for initial responses to October 27, 2017 and reply responses to November 17, 2017.

Since then Flow has requested an additional three (3) weeks to extend the deadline to November 17th for submitting responses to the Commission on the IPTV Consultation. In order to provide Flow and other parties sufficient time to prepare responses to the matters raised in this consultation process, the Commission has decided to extend the submission filing dates as requested. As such, the revised submission dates are as follow:

Initial Responses November 17, 2017 by 4 pm;
Reply Responses December 15, 2017 ) by 4 pm (revised).

If the Commission does not received submissions by the new deadline, it intends to proceed with its consultation regardless. Therefore, we strongly encourage persons to participate actively in the consultation process.
