COMMISSION DECISION
From the inception of the Telecommunications Commission all licenses were recommended by the Commission to the Minister for approval, and the Attorney General Chambers used one licence document the “Telecommunications and Spectrum Licence” to license the telecommunications providers in the Turks and Caicos Islands. However, it became increasingly difficult to ensure that necessary amendments to the licence document were done in a timely manner, especially matters relating to changes of spectrum assignments. These delays have made it difficult for the Carriers in implementing their networks.
